Flora in Tropical Grasslands
Major types of vegetation include:
- shrubs
- grass of different lengths and textures
- acacia: clumps of trees which are covered in thorns
Fauna in Tropical Grasslands
1) Giraffes
- grazing and browsing animals (eating herbs, grass, twigs, etc)
- part of the hoofed animals
- in their niches, they eats leaves/shoots from the tops of the trees to eliminate competition
- predators (meat-eating species along with humans, lions, etc)
- are only can only survive when grazing and browsing animals are thriving (hard during different seasonal changes)

- grow thick fur and migrate while adapting to seasonal changes
- grass can survive fires; plant parts burn above ground but do not harm roots
